Le Beffroi Steak House
At Le Beffroi Steak House, grilled dishes and seafood are our specialty. Plates fit for a king are served to you with their tantalizing aromas dancing through the air? With its unrestricted view of Youville Square and situated in the heart of Quebec, Le Beffroi Steak House also offers two private dining rooms which can hold 30 people maximum.
Our name, its history...
Because our restaurant is located just a stone's throw from the city walls and the Saint-Jean gate, it's no surprise that we port a medieval name.
In the 12th century, numerous belfries were constructed, notably in the cities of Northern France. These belfries proudly dominated each city, being used in fact as watchtowers.
In these city towers, guards were placed to watch over the country equipped with a bell, which allowed them to sound an alarm or to assemble men of arms from the town. The belfry provided a meeting place for city aldermen, an archive, an arms store and a jail.
A lookout was placed in the upper part of the belfry, in order to spot attackers and warn the population of all internal and external dangers. He also rang the bell on the hour, every hour, like a town clock. The chant of the belfry chime called and rallied the population who over the centuries always cherished it.

of beef grilled over natural charcoal. The best center cuts, such as 16-20 oz. filet mignon, Rib Steak, New York strip loins or our gigantic 50 oz. T-bones.Our selection of seafood will entice you, especially our fresh lobsters from ¾ to up to 6 lbs., just waiting to be selected from our tank (according to season). Our exclusive cooking method offers you perfectly done seafood every time.

Le Beffroi Restaurant is open from 6:30am to 11:00pm. If you prefer to dine in the comfort of your room, don't hesitate to call room servicewhich is from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
Free Parking
Indoor parking is available for our clients. Le Beffroi Restaurant offers you two hours of free parking during the day and four hours in the evening.
