Portneuf’s Festival de la Banquise
The Festival de la banquise from Portneuf will be held from January 18 to January 20, 2019! Come check out the rowboat making demonstration and a mini-rowboat race, observe ice sculptors at work and get initiated to this popular local form of art. Come learn about Quebec City’s roots and check out the spectacular start of the Course de la banquise, an impressive rowboat race on the frozen Saint-Lawrence River. Cheer for the athletes from the pier and enjoy the great music, shows and food from the canteen.

From January 3 to January 5, 2019, come enjoy a very special show at the main pavilion’s Multi room at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. A mystic adventure following the beat of the polar winds and the Great North silence awaits incredible puppets. L’Examen Final at La Revanche
Every Monday, at 7 PM starting on January 7, pass your very serious Examen Final (quiz) in four parts at the game pub-coffee shop La Revanche. Hosted by the honourable Quiz Minister Guy Langlois, this trivia quiz in four categories gives you the chance to win a prize by getting the highest score possible! However, if your score is too low, you will have to retake the exam and try to avoid the dunce cap! More than $200 in attendance and cash prizes are offered every week. Don’t miss it! In French only.
