With the cool breeze and the leaves rustling under our boots, now is a great time to hike the trails. Need some ideas on where to go hiking? Check them out!
Sentier des Grèves
For families looking for a shorter hike, the Grèves trail is a great choice. Approximately 1.7 km long, the trail features a magnificent view of Jacques-Cartier beach, the bridges of Quebec City and the Fleuve Saint-Laurent. Furthermore, the path allows access to the river, the cliffs and Plage Gagnon. Please note that the trail is open until October 31st (closed in winter).
Parc Linéaire de la Rivière Saint-Charles
Spanning approximately 32 kilometers through 13 developed sectors, the linear park runs from the Old Port to Lac-Saint-Charles. Please assess the distance you wish to travel and plan a round trip. Good to know: public transportation can facilitate your return. Good news! Access is also free.
Station touristique Stoneham
The famous Station touristique Stoneham is 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City and is well known by locals and visitors alike.
