ComediaHa! Fest-Québec Festival

The ComediHa! Fest-Québec festivities began on July 28th and will continue until August 28th. Due to the current situation, this comedy festival is held at 75% virtually. However, it is possible to attend some shows in person by reserving tickets. The physical performances take place in different venues in Old Quebec such as the Théâtre Capitole, Théâtre Petit Champlain or the Manège Militaire. This year’s ComediHa! Fest-Québec is completely free. The festival also offers a Ciné Pique-Nique, located at Place George-V, which allows you to eat outdoors while listening to a comedy with your friends.

The Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France

The Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France is offering a brand new concept for its 2021 edition. From August 5th to 15th, Old Quebec will be a huge playground for all participants of the TD Chasse au trésor. With the help of a Medallion-Decryptor, sold for $15 (taxes included) and replacing the traditional pass, participants will be able to explore Old Quebec and Petit Champlain and solve several quests. Clues and keys will be hidden everywhere to help them progress.

Visit Quebec City on an electric bike

On July 9th, the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) launched a new electric bike-sharing service called à Vélo. Several electric bike stations have been set up in various locations in Old Quebec. This option is ideal for getting around the Old Capital at a low cost.
