Festival de Robotique (Robotics Festival)

Looking for an unusual family outing? Why not head over to the Festival de Robotique from April 4 to 6 at the Centre de foires de Québec. Québec Exquis!

The 9^th edition of Québec Exquis!, the most important food festival in Quebec City, will take place from April 6 to 20, 2019. Insect Festival

For the 5^th year in a row, the Aquarium du Québec is hosting the very popular Insect Festival. From April 12 to 14, 2019, more than 10,000 specimens will invade the Aquarium. Go inside the butterfly aviary and handle insects of all kinds. Only the bravest will dare to enter the scorpion room or hold a tarantula in their hands. Workshops, entertainment, presentations and bugs in abundance, you can be sure to find something to fascinate people from all ages.

For the more adventurous ones, the Festival offers an insect tasting for a slightly … crispy snack!

Sugaring Season

Whether you are looking for a family outing or a solo trip, a stop at the sugar shack is a must to add to your April calendar. The formula remains the same: brunch-type meal, folk music, friendly service and maple taffy on snow.

Take advantage of the warm weather to do a road trip to the Relais des Pins on Île d’Orléans. No matter if you are with a group or just two people, the staff will be happy to welcome you in the same cozy atmosphere. We like to go there for their poached eggs in maple syrup, a house specialty.
