Exhibitions on Picasso

From June 15 to September 6, 2021, Le Center des congrès de Québec will present Imagine Picasso. CThis immersive exhibition, which was originally created in Lyon, France, is entirely dedicated to the works of the famous artist Pablo Picasso. For the first time ever, it will be presented in North America. This exposition, where Picasso’s artistic universe and state-of-the-art technology come together, is sure to impress the whole family.

Several of Picasso’s masterpieces will also be on display at Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec this summer, from June 12 to September 12, 2021. Never before presented in Quebec City, the thematic proposal Picasso. Figures will transport you through more than seventy-five years of wonderful artistic production.

What a coincidence that the two exhibitions are being presented at the same time! Now is your chance to discover the fabulous Pablo Picasso!

Are you looking for a different and totally free activity? This summer, come to the 8th edition of PASSAGES INSOLITES. This year’s edition will reveal its new itinerary of public art that emphasizes the urban experience. From Petit Champlain to Saint-Sauveur, passing through Place-Royale, the Old Port and Saint-Roch, visitors will be invited to follow a 5km journey. For the very first time, satellite works will even be presented in the Upper Town. It is through an array of artists such as Nicole Banowetz, BGL and Delirious Québec that art takes over the city!



Want to get out and about and admire the breathtaking scenery? Several tourist sites in Quebec City offer short or long trails to suit all types of adventurers. Located only a few minutes from Quebec City, the trails of the Jacques-Cartier National Park, the Stoneham tourist station and the Bras-du-Nord Valleyare some of the sites that allow you to access fabulous panoramas. The FEQ has recently announced its program for this summer and it will be an edition like no other! From July 8th to 18th, 100% Quebecois music and comedy shows will be presented at the Armoury. Spectators will be seated to enjoy the show. Given the current situation, seats are limited. Don’t delay! You will also be able to attend the shows virtually, as they will be offered in webcast.
