Job description
- Establish, implement, and enforce reception and company policies and procedures;
- Manage reception area;
- Actively participate in planning the hotel’s service offerings (communicate promotions, packages, service procedures, and specifics);
- Ensure guest satisfaction during and after service delivery, and handle customer complaints;
- Have knowledge of and plan for weekly events to ensure the smooth operation of the reception and meeting rooms (display, awareness of ongoing events, etc.).
- Establish efficient work organization to enhance customer service quality, service profitability, and workforce skills;
- Optimize the use of software related to reception services;
- Manage human resources within the department (staff hiring, training, work allocation, schedule creation, supervision, performance evaluation, conflict resolution, etc.);
- Ensure ongoing training of staff;
- Work in coordination with other departments in the establishment.
Requirements
- College diploma in hotel management (an asset);
- 2 years of experience in hotel reception.

- Fluency in French;
- Intermediate English preferred;
- Self-control;
- Discernment;
- Diplomacy;
- Strong written and spoken French;
- Conviction;
- Sense of responsibility and autonomy.
