Job description
- Respond to requests for information (rates, availability, services offered) by email, telephone or fax;
- Take booking calls for simple events (weddings, meetings, parties, etc.);
- Meet with clients, identify their needs, propose solutions and conduct site visits;
- Draft, monitor and coordinate contracts;
- Produce submissions within 24 hours;
- Represent the hotel at events and trade shows (e.g. Chamber of Commerce, Bridal Show, etc.);
- Solicit new clients every week and ensure good follow-up with existing ones;
- Maintain excellent customer relations to measure satisfaction and strengthen loyalty;
- Transmit all relevant information to the relevant departments (dates, needs, number of people, etc.);
- Carry out daily tours of rented rooms and meet clients on site;
- Present weekly functions at the operations meeting;
- Ensure the coordination and smooth running of all events.
Education
- DEC in hotel management techniques, tourism or marketing;
- 2 to 3 years of relevant sales experience;
- 3 to 4 years of experience in customer service;
- Knowledge of the Maestro system (an asset).
