Job description
- Plan and coordinate events (conferences, meetings, trade shows, corporate activities, weddings, etc.).
- Develop timelines and ensure follow-up at each stage of execution.
- Recommend services tailored to client needs and budget requirements.
- Reserve rooms, equipment, catering services, and other necessary resources.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of rented event spaces and meet with clients on-site.
- Communicate all relevant details to affected departments (dates, requirements, attendee counts, etc.).
- Swiftly resolve unforeseen issues to ensure event success.
- Issue invoices and track payments in accordance with agreed schedules.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups and maintain strong, ongoing client relationships.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
Education
- DEC in hotel management techniques, tourism or marketing;
- 2 to 3 years of relevant sales experience;
- 3 to 4 years of experience in customer service;
- Knowledge of the Maestro system (an asset).
