Job description
- Negotiate purchasing and return agreements with food suppliers;
- Verify invoice accuracy upon receipt of goods;
- Ensure inventory control for 7 kitchens and 4 bars;
- Collaborate with chefs and managers to monitor and control costs;
- Identify cost-saving purchasing opportunities and occasional discounts;
- Oversee compliance with hygiene and food safety standards;
- Conduct internal audits (MAPAQ and regulatory requirements);
- Carry out various ad hoc assignments related to procurement.
Education
- Diploma in logistics, administration, or a related field;
- Bilingual French / English (English-speaking suppliers);
- Relevant experience in procurement or inventory management (an asset).
Skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills;
- High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and respect for deadlines;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
- Autonomy, professionalism, and sound judgment;
- Comfortable using technological tools.
