What’s up with the Quebec City Winter Carnival?
From February 7th to 16th 2020, the emblematic celebration of winter will take place: the Quebec City Winter Carnival. This festival for both young and old is not to be missed during winter in Quebec City. By purchasing the effigy, you will gain access to everything that happens on the site. This year's 66th edition combines tradition and innovation by making a few additions to the festival.
What’s new?
This year, you will experience a bigger parade with an extended route providing a greater space to welcome the many spectators. This colourful show will dazzle you with its incredible lighting effects, pyrotechnics, spectacular choreography and much more. Throughout the parade, you will be transported to a festive ambiance through electro and rock music.
The Christie North Slope, the brand-new snow-sliding site, features a dizzying slide: the Christie Descent! This 300-foot long incline launches from a pad built right on Grande Allée Street.
The Bonhomme’s Ice Palace will be transformed into an arcade reminiscent of the 80s. Visitors will also be able to venture through Pixel, an immersive experience dedicated to the pleasure of interactive entertainment.
Parents will be glad to know that the Quebec City Winter Carnival is free of charge for all children aged 12 and under.

The Alaclair Ensemble band and the rising stars of Quebec province rap, FouKi and QuietMike, join forces to light up the stage of Bonhomme’s Ice Palace at the Loto-Québec Zone for one crazy festive evening. Experience the Carnival in a way never seen before!
Are you an electro music enthusiast? The party fires off at Sapporo Electro frette. Dance to the electrifying rhythms of DJs hailing from all over the world. An exciting atmosphere you won’t soon forget awaits you in the middle of Jacques-Parizeau Street.
Join the fun at the Camp à Jos presented by Vidéotron where a rallying site awaits you with games, music and a festive atmosphere.
