Job description
- Welcome guests at the bar in a courteous and professional manner;
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages;
- Advise guests on products and cocktails;
- Set up the bar, including products, glassware and garnishes;
- Keep the bar clean, organized and compliant with hygiene standards;
- Verify guests’ legal drinking age when serving alcohol;
- Manage orders and provide fast and efficient service;
- Process bills and payments;
- Restock products and monitor inventory;
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service;
- Comply with health, safety and sanitation standards;
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Competences and qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in bartending or food service;
- Training in mixology or bartending is a strong asset;
- Knowledge of beverages, wines and spirits is an asset.
