TASK DESCRIPTION
- Ensure good working tools for room maintenance staff;
- Check rooms and service areas and ensure their constant cleanliness;
- Follow up on charges following new room layouts;
- Follow up daily on changes made to the hotel’s General Manager;
- Inform the maintenance department of breakdowns;
- Follow up with maintenance to check that the work requested has been done;
- Clean rooms, occasionally;
- Follow up with the laundry department on quantity and quality of required materials;
- Check schedules to ensure that staffing levels match hotel occupancy rates;
- Ensure bedding orders.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a room attendant;
- Experience in personnel management is an asset;
- Speaking and writing Spanish is a substantial asset.
